FOUR TIPS ON BUYING WEDDING JEWELRY![]()
Choosing wedding jewelry can be difficult, but thankfully you will only be doing this once in your life. (Or, so we assume) Like many other aspects of wedding planning, the jewelry must complement the bride and not distract any attention because of gaudiness. Remember these four important tips when buying wedding jewelry, and make sure this once in a lifetime assignment is a success.
1. Buy According To Your Fashionable Chances are, you don't want to spend good money on wedding jewelry if the items are just going to be stuffed in a box for the rest of eternity. You want to buy something that will look good for the big day, and that can be used at formal dinners, important gatherings and other social occasions. So buy jewelry with both the wedding day and first anniversary in mind. 2. Stay Within Budget By now you should have budgeted the total cost of a wedding. If you haven't yet, it's never too soon to start. Preferably long before the first dollar has been spent. Don't spend too much on jewelry. They are just to make the ears and maybe the neck look pretty. All the other saved up money you can spend on the honeymoon. 3. Bring A Friend Deciding upon jewelry alone while you're alone is less exciting and possibly more of a risk. A friend or family member can guide you in the right direction, particularly in concluding what you need as opposed to what would be fun or luxurious. It also provided a much needed second opinion to ward off the sales pressure of the bridal store. 4. Research Your Jewelry Don't wait until you first step foot into the store before seriously thinking what you want to wear on your wedding day. Having no idea or any concept of what looks good and what fits your personal taste will only make the process longer and more complicated. Start researching wedding jewelry online and get some advice from friends, family and even the groom to be, on what looks good and what's worth the money. Buying wedding jewelry is doesn't have to be pricey but will always be romantic and memorable if your heart is true. Knowing that, it only makes sense to think practical. |
